PAYT Bag Prices Effective Monday, April 1st, the price of Town of Peterborough Recycling Center trash bags has increased. The local vendors selling the blue bags are Agway (Rt. 202 south), Belletete's (Rt. 202 north), Shaw's (Rt. 101 west) and Nature's Green Grocer (347 Union St). Bags are sold in rolls of 10. Small bags (15gal) are now $11.50 per roll. Large bags (33gal) are now $23.00 per roll.

Offices to be Elected

All candidates for elective office must be registered voters of Peterborough and are required to file with the Town Clerk.
The filing period will begin March 27, 2024 during regular office hours 
The period ends on Friday, April 5, 2024, on which the Town Clerk's Office will be open from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM (for filing purposes only).

Voting will take place at the Community Center on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. The polls will open at 7:00am and close at 7:00pm. The following Town Officers are to be elected on May 14, 2024:

SELECTMAN for Three Years;
TOWN CLERK for Three Years;
TOWN MODERATOR for Three Years;
SUPERVISOR OF THE CHECKLIST for Six Years;
TOWN TREASURER for Three Years;
TRUSTEE OF THE TRUST FUNDS for Three Years;
BUDGET COMMITTEE for Three Years;
ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT for Three Years;
CEMETERY TRUSTEE for Three Years;
LIBRARY TRUSTEE for Three Years;
PLANNING BOARD for Three Years;
RECREATION COMMITTEE for Three Years
