Adams Park
71 Union Street

Within the confines of Adams Park are a number of recreational amenities to enjoy.  There are two softball fields and a Cal Ripken-sized baseball field, a skate park, four tennis courts which also serve as eight pickleball courts, a basketball court, two gazebos, two Ga-Ga pits, Adams Pool, Adams Playground, and the Peterborough Recreation Department headquarters.  We also have a new bike "pump track" available behind the tennis courts.

The playground is not cleaned outside of normal measures and it is not sanitized. Play at your own risk. Hand sanitizing stations are at the three entrances.

The gazebos are available first come-first served.  If you would like to rent a gazebo (two hour minimum), you are guaranteed its availability for your use.
Gazebo Rental Rates = $20/hour- private rental; $15/hour- non-profit organization; $25/hour- commercial use.
Call the PRD at 924-8080 to check rental availability.

Ballfields (Ecco, Picard, Bishop and Russell fields) can be rented for private use at the following rates:
$20/hour if not made up
$50/hour if made up
plus an additional $75/hour for using the lights

To schedule a fundraiser or tournament play, call (603)  924-8080 to discuss pricing.

When our schedule permits, the meeting room adjoining the Recreation Office at 64 Union Street may be rented as follows: $25/hour- private rental; $20/hour- non-profit organization.

Adams Pool underwent a tremendous renovation in 2013.  Features include a covered spiral slide into the pool; stairs into the pool for a more gradual entry; a hydraulic Hoyer lift; and a zero-depth splash pad with numerous spraying apparatus.
