The 5th annual Art Walk will be in Depot and Putnam parks the weekend of July 3rd, rain date Sunday July 4th.
The flyer with map and list of artists is ready for viewing thanks to the event organizers.

Memberships: There is a 2021 punch card system for residents and nonresidents.
Punch Card rates:        15 visits           $23/res household, $105/non-res household
30 visits           $38/res household, $153/non-res household
45 visits           $48/res household, $168/non-res household
60 visits           $53/res household, $210/non-res household
Individual season’s pass for residents            $12/person
Family pass for residents                                $49/household
Pay-as-you-go                         $2/res/visit or $8/non-res/visit

 Pond: Stickers will be required at Cunningham Pond this summer.
The first vehicle sticker/household is free.
Every subsequent sticker in that household is $10 each.
There is a $25 fine for unauthorized parking.

In-person: Stickers can be picked up at the Recreation office at 64 Union Street 8:30am-4:30pm Mon-Fri. Bring your car’s registration as well as a photo ID. If your car is registered somewhere else besides Peterborough, please also bring along something that proves you currently reside in Peterborough.

By mail: mail a self-addressed stamped envelope, along with a photocopy of your car registration and driver’s license to 64 Union St. Peterborough, NH 03458. Also include a phone number to best reach you at if there are any questions.

 Recycling Center:  Wanted, Recycling Attendant 1 – Full-Time
The Peterborough DPW Recycling Division is accepting applications for the position of Recycling Attendant 1 Full Time. We are looking for a team player that can work in a professional, fast paced, customer-oriented environment. This is an excellent career opportunity with a great organization that offers excellent benefits, competitive pay, a retirement package, four day 10-hour work week, and advancement opportunities. Job responsibilities will include general recycling duties and operation of balers and forklift. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 mos. experience as a solid waste operator preferred, but the Town will consider an appropriate combination of education and experience that provide the knowledge and skills to perform the job. Training will be available to the chosen candidate. The pay range for this position is $16.19 through $21.27. Peterborough Town Library is hosting story time at the Community Center! Join us every Tuesday at 10:30am for outdoor stories and a take-home craft. Please register to be sure we have enough crafts and bring a blanket for the family to sit on!

Have you heard the news? We are opening for browsing in-person beginning July 6th. Stock up on books! We will be closing August 1st while we move back to the completed new library and plan for the Grand Opening on September 12th! There will be no curbside services or library programs after August 1st.

Town Clerk
The office will be CLOSED on Fridays during the summer months, beginning on Friday, June 4th and through the month August. The office will be open its regular 8:30am-4pm hours Monday – Thursday, except for July 5th when the Town Offices will be closed for the July 4th holiday.   For online transactions, visit the Town Clerk’s page:  HERE

Tax Collector
Property tax bills will be due 7/1/21.  Reminder: payments can be made online, by mail or dropped in the drop slot as our office remains closed to the public. Pay online HERE

Select Board
The Select Board has resumed in-person meetings in the Select Board Meeting Room of the Peterborough Town House. All meetings will be live streamed on Comcast Channel 22, UStream and YouTube. Due to technical reasons, the meetings will no longer be live streamed on Facebook.
