Ciaran & Tara
Corinne
Ben
Ciaran & Tara
This is Ciaran and Tara! They moved to the US from Ireland in 2012, and to Peterborough in November 2019. On their way to hike Mount Monadnock last August, they stumbled upon Parker and Sons Coffee Roasting, fell in love with the town and looked at property the same day! They were looking for involvement in a vibrant community and they definitely found it! Both musicians (Tara an accomplished classical violinist, Ciaran a founding member of the Three Irish Tenors) they perform together in their band Ishna.
Corinne
This is Corinne! We are lucky to have her as the director of Peterborough Town Library which may I remind you is the first tax-supported – aka public – library in the world, founded 187 years ago TODAY! She has helped develop and expand the library’s rich programming, and is playing a vital role in the building of the new town library. In addition, she sits on a plethora of town boards and committees. Corinne and her family moved here a few years ago, and we couldn’t be more happy!
Ben
This is Ben! Longtime resident and local news stalwart, you’ve seen his spellbinding photography everywhere from the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript (where he serves as editor), to calendars at art fairs (he’ll be at the upcoming Broke art fair on 11/30), local business websites, band posters and more. He was awarded NH Press Association Photographer of the year for 2019!! He’s quite the ubiquitous presence in the local community. You’ll find him covering just about every local high school sports event there is, and he also advises the Conval student literary magazine/newspaper The Link throughout the school year.
Heather Andrea & Dan Adam
Heather
This is Heather! After living in Australia, Colorado, Maine, and the NH Seacoast, she moved back to Peterborough, where she runs Monadnock Therapeutic Bodyworks right downtown – so she’s also one of our #entrepreneursofpeterborough! When she’s not there, you’ll find her out networking, playing in local sports leagues, tabling at local events, and brainstorming ways to enrich the health and wellness of the community. She says opening her business in Peterborough was a “no brainer,” and felt empowered by the community support and word-of-mouth referrals that made the start-up process smooth. She also cites the picturesque setting, ample outdoor activities, eclectic downtown business environment, and numerous community supported events as just some of the reasons she deeply appreciates Peterborough!
Andrea & Dan
This is Andrea and Dan! They moved to Peterborough from New Jersey with their family in July 2019. Though relative newcomers, they quickly became involved in our community. Dan is a realtor, and was a soccer coach for the 2019 CVSC Youth Recreational soccer Program, while Andrea is currently the secretary for the Peterborough Elementary PTO and member of the Peterborough Welcome Committee! Both have backgrounds in theatre/acting, and they love the variety of staple local events like Music in Depot Park, The Thing in the Spring, Children and the Arts, and the newly established holiday lantern parade tradition.

Andrea sums it up nicely: “We absolutely LOVE Peterborough and we feel so grateful to have found this special little town.”

We’re glad you found this town too!

Adam
This is Adam! After a long stint living in Chicago and being a full time touring musician, he and his wife (both NH natives) decided to move back to the region to put down small town roots and start a family. “Peterborough has a unique warmth in its community. There are familiar faces and helping hands everywhere. I admire the dedication to support local business and the way arts are celebrated and supported.” Adam is a true exemplar of the type of community engagement we are always talking about here. He teams up with Peterborough Town Library to offer classes on podcasts, music production, and editing software, and also uses his downtown office above Toadstool Bookshop to work with people of all ages on songwriting and bringing their ideas to life through sound. We are quite fortunate to have him in our community sharing his gifts and doing great work!
