December 19, 2022: “Peterborough becomes latest area town to get state community power go-ahead.” Keene Sentinel, December 19. The online article was updated on December 23. This otherwise excellent article requires two corrections:
1. Steve Walker is the Town of Peterborough's designated Director (representative to the Board of Directors of the Community Power Coalition of NH [CPCNH]). Mr. Walker is not the Peterborough Community Power Plan's Director. Peterborough's Alternate Director to CPCNH (the person who assumes Director responsibilities if the primary Director is not available) is Danica Melone, Peterborough's Town Planner.
2. CPCNH is not "Hanover-based." It's a state-wide organization. The current Chair of its Board of Directors is Clifton Below, who is the Assistant Mayor of the City of Lebanon.

March 13, 2023: “Community Power Coalition of New Hampshire announces electricity rates.” PV Magazine, article by Anne Fischer, about the CPCNH rate announcement (which took place in Nashua, 3 pm, March 13). Peterborough is named as one of the ten communities affected by the CPCNH rates.

March 13, 2023: “NH community power: Rates will be 20 to 40 percent less than utility companies.” NH Bulletin, article by Hadley Barndollar. Similar to the above article in PV Magazine.

March 14, 2023: “NH communities announce community power savings.” NH Union- Leader, article by Shawne K. Wickham. Similar to the above two articles.

March 16, 2023: “Community power rates set.” Monadnock Ledger-Transcript, page A2, article by Rowan Wilson. This article focuses on Peterborough.

July 11, 2023: “Coalition announces new electricity rates.” Monadnock Ledger- Transcript, page A1, article by Josh Lacaillade. This article covers the new rates offered by the Community Power Coalition of NH (CPCNH) and focuses on savings for Peterborough customers.

January 4, 2024: “Peterborough community power rates to drop.” Monadnock Ledger- Transcript, page A2, unsigned news article based on the press release from Peterborough Community Power. The article emphasizes that the new default rate for February through July, 2024, represents a greater than 25% drop from the previous
default rate.

January 4, 2024: “Community Power of NH customers to see rate decreases next month.” Keene Sentinel, article by Jamie Browder. This article mentions all the Towns in
the Monadnock region, including Peterborough, that are served by CPCNH and which will have significantly reduced rates in February through July, 2024. The article also contains quotes from Tony Cassady, the co-chair of the Peterborough Community Power Committee.
