Downtown Visioning Project

The Town of Peterborough will be hosting outreach activities to gain feedback on upcoming DPW projects in the Downtown. These upcoming projects pose an opportunity to look at and incorporate goals of the Greater Downtown TIF District Advisory Committee. Such things being considered  include: walkability, bicycle infrastructure, connection of the Common Pathway, traffic calming, and beautification in the areas of School Street, Depot Street, lower Main Street from the bridge to the intersection with Grove Street, and Grove Street from the intersection of Main Street to School Street.

INFO SESSIONS
Join us in the Select Board room at the Town House (1 Grove Street) for a brief informational session about this project. Each session will be available to watch from Comcast Channel 22 or the U-Stream. Below are the dates of each session:

STAKEHOLDER BREAKFAST
Downtown stakeholders are invited to attend an early morning informational session on this project on Tuesday, June 21 at 8 AM in the 1833 Room of the Peterborough Town Library. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided.

VISIONING FORUM

Wednesday, July 27 - 1 PM to 5 PM
Thursday, July 28 - 1 PM to 5 PM
Friday, July 29 - 1 PM to 5 PM 

A three-day charette-style forum will be hosted in the Select Board meeting room at the Town House. Attendees will work through intensive assessment and visioning around the identified area of the Downtown. Refreshments and light snacks will be available. To participate in-person, please RSVP by contacting Danica Melone at dmelone@peterboroughnh.gov or (603) 924-8000 ext 104 no later than Friday, July 1. 

A virtual option will be made available and posted on this page for interested persons to participate form afar. The link to the virtual Visioning Forum will be posted in the coming month.
